![]() ![]() And it will be grand.Īlso, Lizz watched the DVD and was amazed by the same songs I was, and that helped cheer me up a little. And I'm very much considering getting a new stereo system for my car to help me relax and listen to this stuff LOUD. And I can re-rip the first Dresden Dolls DVD and do a good job at it this time. It also lets me dump them to a 1070mb wav file that I can play with to trim off talking between songs, and quiet down the crowd cheering which, though awesome, isn't what I want in my mp3's.īut the results will be awesome. Regardless, it let me extract 4 songs to VBR mp3's with tons of options and minimal effort. It didn't seem to let me choose when to stop or start, it just recorded the whole track, but I didn't look too much into it, so it may be possible. To be safe I usually only select the one audio track I want and leave all other audio tracks unchecked. ![]() When you do this MakeMKV flags the lossless audio track (s). It reads the DVD and lets you choose what tracks to record (meaning it handles any spanning of VOB files for you), which is great since the DVD has the songs each on a different track. In MakeMKV, you need to save your mkv file with the FLAC profile (drop down menu under the 'Make MKV' button, in expert mode). It is available for both Mac and Windows operating systems. You can extra audio tracks from the DVD and save it in formats like FLAC, M4A, AAC and MP3. ![]() If you are wondering how to rip audio from DVD, you don't need to look beyond DVDFab Ripper. So last night I found CAS DVD Audio Extractor, and it's wonderful. DVDFab DVD Ripper is an excellent DVD audio extractor. Stitching the files together is a pain and can't be done very neatly without lots of work. I don't know if this is common to VOB's or if it was something about Jodix standardizing the initial volume of each VOB, but it was a pain. The two files were very different volumes. No big deal, record both and stitch them together with Audigy. The recording options were rather sparse, the quality seemed iffy, and the VOB thing was a pain because one song I wanted was spanned across two of these VOB files. It was interesting in that it opened the VOB files and let you select what times to record the audio from. That Jodix program I had to rip music from DVD's? Complete and utter shit. However, I'd prefer not to linger on those 95% of things going on that piss me off and instead focus on something good. Video downloader, subtitle search, audio converter/extractor, media cutter, Gif animation generator. Several things I was looking forward to fell through and I'm rather pissed, but hopefully I can set them straight at some point. As a result I'm extremely irritable and ready to scream at the smallest things. So quite a few things are going very fucking wrong, and it's set off my anxiety. ![]()
